Presenter Information

ABSTRACT DEADLINE (Oral and Poster): December 19, 2025

Short abstracts for consideration should not exceed 250 words. 


Extended abstracts for the proceedings do not have a word limit. Both, of course,  must address water-resource issues relevant to the Southeast Region.


Extended abstracts to be included in the Symposium Proceedings need to be submitted by April 1, 2026.

PRESENTATION DEADLINE (PowerPoints for Oral Presentation): April 6, 2026

PowerPoint presentations for oral presentations should be sent ahead of time. Even if you are still working on it, please send us a basic copy to have on hand, just in case!


This allows us time to get our computers loaded with presentations ahead of time. Thank you for your help with this!

Guidelines for Accepted Oral Presenters

  • Limited to a 20-minute talk with a 10-minute question-and-answer session. 
  • Preparation and submittal of an extended abstract including color illustrations is encouraged. Your paper will be published in the online Proceedings. 
  • Format for extended abstracts are the same as above. No length limit.
